What is a good pet for a 10 year old?

well my little sister has been wanting a pet she is much like a boy i mean she hates girlie things so yea and she doesn't like fish or hamsters we have reptiles and she wants to get away from them she wants a little cute animal and ideas she wanted a ferret a pot bellied pig and a sugar glider also a kinkajou i don't even know what that is but the answer she got from mom was NOOONOOOONOOOO none of those!!
