What's the name of this movie i saw when i was little?

i remember being a very littlle girl (about 30yrs ago) and watching the afternoon movie at my grandma's. all i remember is this little miniture skeleton voo doo looking mini guy running around with a knife in his hand trying to kill a woman. he would keep sliding it under the door and at one point she had him in a suit case but he sawed out of that. i believe it was from the early seventies. i've never forgotten and would like to see it again.
