What can I use to remove tape residue off of a granite headstone,without damaging it?

There is scotch tape residue on my parents headstone and looks terrible. I want to remove it safely,without harming the stone. It has been on there for a long time. PLEASE HELP me so,I can get this off,so it looks nice again.
