Supplies need for horses?

Okay sooo I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do. I want to be a jockey when I'm a little bit older (I'm 15 now) and I know I won't be able to keep my own horse since I might be traveling alot and stuff. But for now I'm thinking (in the near future when I get more expierence) about leasing a horse from my riding place. I think this will give me a taste of what it's like to kinda own a horse. Well just in case I maybe one day get my own horse what do I need?I've reaseached this about a bajillion times but each time someone says something different and by using Y!A I can kinda see the differences and stuff. So What are the basics, must haves, and the importants but not nessasaries? Can you give me a list? And don't worry about the prices I'm not too concerned with that right at the moment. I just want this information to know what to expect and to be prepared. Thanks so much :)
