No, you cannot sue them. Also, you don't necessarily need to be a licensed entity to do remodeling work. Some municipalities require some work to be done by a licensed professional such as plumbing and electric, but anyone can do a remodel as long as the plans are approved by their engineers and are followed by the person doing the remodeling and p inspections.
